June 6th marked another milestone for American Airlines as the airline’s schedule at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) grew to more than 900 daily flights for the first time this summer. This enables more than 9,000 one-stop travel possibilities through DFW — more than any other airline hub in the world.
To facilitate the growth at DFW, American refurbished Terminal B which included converting eight regional gates to six mainline gates. These gates were previously used by American Eagle but have been resized to accommodate mainline aircraft and connect more customers.
Kudos to R.M. Chin’s Logan Nelson, who served as Project Manager for this project!
