Project Description

The Public Building Commission of Chicago uses the project delivery method Job Order Contract (JOC) for site preparation, demolition, and various building renovation projects. As a subconsultant to Arcadis (Rise Group), R.M. Chin provided Project Management services for the Public Building Commission of Chicago Job Order Contract (JOC) program. As a JOC Project Manager, R.M. Chin was responsible for administering oversight of the procurement process, construction, and closeout for the project.

Responsibilities included:

  • Proposal and schedule review
  • Safety and quality oversight
  • Change order management, coordination meetings, and detailed status updates for the client
  • Job site inspections, document management, and various administrative duties
