Renaissance Village Development, Chicago, IL
R.M. Chin serves as Development Manager for the Renaissance Village project, located near the Chicago Pilsen and Chinatown neighborhoods, to oversee the rezoning process. R.M. Chin worked closely with the City of Chicago’s Department of Planning (Community Development) and the City Council’s Zoning Committee to achieve the rezoning of the property from a C3 (Commercial, Manufacturing, and Employment District) use to a PD (Planned Development) use. The Renaissance Village efforts included public outreach and aldermanic coordination. Additionally, R.M. Chin oversaw the design of the project.
Project summary:
- Five residential towers, providing 682 units and 796 residential parking spaces
- Twelve townhomes
- Nearly 90,000 square feet of retail space, 200 dedicated retail parking spaces, and ample street parking
- Close to 14,000 square feet of open park space
