On October 18th, Rotary Club of Chicago O’Hare President Mike Sullivan presented the Rotary’s Paul Harris Award of Recognition to R.M. Chin’s Senior Vice President Joseph (Joe) Dote.
Joe was an active Rotarian member for over five years and supported the club with his persistent efforts to promote the Rotary Club annual golf outing fundraiser. The fundraiser allows the club to award many scholarships to well-qualified seniors in need of financial assistance at Leyden High School in Franklin Park. Last year, Joe helped raise $25,000 for the scholarship program.
The Rotary Club is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and act to create lasting change. Rotary members believe they have a responsibility to act on sustainable projects to help make the world a better place. The 35,000+ clubs work together to promote peace, fight diseases, provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, support education, and grow local economies.
Congratulations on your well-deserved award, Joe!
