Rise and shine, Chicago! The Jane Byrne Circle Interchange is making progress! Yesterday, the team poured concrete for the column which is part of a pier. The pier is one of 16 being built to hold up the bridge deck for the new West to South Ramp.

This Interchange is critical to the nation’s transportation system, particularly for freight movement on our Interstate and major roadways, as well as to regional railroads and waterways. It serves as a vital hub for local, regional, and national freight traffic.

R.M. Chin’s Brittany Cook serves as Assistant Resident Engineer on the project. Nice work, Brittany!
