Aer Lingus Terminal 6 Lounge
Aer Lingus Terminal 6 Lounge
R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) is providing project management services for the new $6 million Aer Lingus Lounge at John F. Kennedy International Airport. As the prime consultant, CHIN is overseeing every phase of the project to ensure its successful execution. The CHIN team’s combined expertise is instrumental in delivering a high-quality, well-coordinated lounge that meets Aer Lingus’ standards and enhances the passenger experience at Terminal 6.

Project Description
Aer Lingus is relocating its lounge from Terminal 7 to the newly developed Terminal 6 at JFK Airport. The project involves designing and constructing a 4,500 SF premium lounge that enhances the passenger experience with a variety of seating options, a serving area, a kitchen, restrooms, showers, storage, branding signage, and architectural design features.
The Challenge
CHIN is leading project management, cost management, and construction oversight to ensure the successful delivery of the Aer Lingus lounge.
Given that Terminal 6 is still under development, CHIN is closely coordinating with the JFK T6 Terminal Developer to align construction efforts, manage dependencies, and mitigate potential conflicts. This project is on a compressed 20-week schedule, requiring seamless collaboration, strategic scheduling, and proactive risk management.
Anticipated Client Outcomes
Upon completion, the new Aer Lingus lounge will provide travelers with a modern, well-appointed space to relax before their flights. By maintaining a disciplined approach to schedule, budget, and quality control, CHIN is delivering a premium facility that reflects Aer Lingus’ brand and enhances the overall passenger experience at JFK Terminal 6.
