  • IDOT CREATE 75th Street Corridor Improvement Project

    R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) leads public involvement initiatives for the 75th Street Corridor Improvement Project (75th Street CIP): the largest project in the Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) Program. Located in the Chicago neighborhoods of Ashburn, Englewood, Auburn Gresham, and West Chatham, the corridor runs along with two passenger and four freight rail lines.

  • CCDoTH Bike Plan

    R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) served as the subconsultant to the program manager to conduct public involvement and outreach for the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highway’s first-ever bike plan. This endeavor expanded the existing system of off-street trails and other low-stress routes into a coherent, countywide network. It enhanced facilities to support bike commuting and other purposeful bike trips.

  • Cook County BAM Build Up Cook

    R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) serves a subconsultant to the project manager to lead branding efforts for the Build Up Cook (BUC) program. Launched with $30.5 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds, BUC is designed to address long-neglected capital improvement needs in under-resourced municipalities across Cook County. It supports essential projects including water main repairs, pump and hydrant replacements, facility and roof repairs, and more. However, its impact stretches far beyond construction— it builds municipal capacity through consulting, professional development, engineering, and construction support.

  • CCDoTH CREATE GS23a: Cottage Grove and IHB/CSX Grade Separation

    R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) provided public involvement services for Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH) on the CREATE GS23a Project. The project aims to eliminate the at-grade crossing of Cottage Grove Avenue and the four Indiana Harbor Belt (IHB) and CSX Transportation tracks by creating an overpass or underpass for vehicles in Dolton, IL.

  • IDOT I-57 Access Study

    R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) leads the public involvement initiatives for the I-57 Access Study, which is bounded by Wilmington-Peotone Road (south), Manhattan-Monee Road (north), US Route 45 (west), and 1 mile east of IL 50 (east), including the Villages of Peotone and Monee. The study aims to propose improvements that will meet the 2050 travel demand and will review existing conditions and potential areas of improvement along the corridor to develop a proposed improvement for consideration.

  • CCDoTH Plainfield Road Phase I Corridor Study

    R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) serves as a subconsultant to the project manager for the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways’ (DoTH) Plainfield Road Phase I Corridor Study. This study encompasses the 3.5-mile stretch of Plainfield Road from County Line Road in Burr Ridge to East Avenue in McCook, analyzing existing roadways and intersections along the route to identify development opportunities for environmental and community improvements. These proposed improvements include addressing the existing roadway and drainage deficiencies, enhancing pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, and improving safety and mobility for all users. A vital component of this study is to incorporate the goals and priorities of key stakeholders and the general public and build upon existing plans and adjacent projects.

  • CCDoTH Pulaski Road/Crawford Avenue Phase I Corridor Study

    This study encompasses the four-mile stretch of Pulaski Road from 127th Street in Alsip to 159th Street in Markham to evaluate future transportation needs along the corridor and recommend various improvements to the transportation infrastructure. This includes the replacement of the bridge over the Cal-Sag Channel, roadway improvements (such as pavement and intersection upgrades), and enhancing pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, to improve mobility, safety, and condition of transportation facilities for all users.

  • CTA Red Line Extension Project

    R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) is a subconsultant to the program manager. In Phase 1 of the contract, the RLE PM subconsultant assisted CTA with coordination of the NEPA process to develop the Final EIS & ROD, branding, property acquisition, and led outreach and public involvement. During Phase 2 of the contract, the RLE PM shall assist CTA with completion of Phase I services and services needed for Entry into Engineering and FFGA.

  • Village of Indian Head Park/CCDoTH Wolf Road Corridor Study

    R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) Public Involvement Team served as a subconsultant managing stakeholder outreach for the Wolf Road Corridor Study, a collaboration between the Village of Indian Head Park and Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH). Initiated in 2020, this Phase I Study aimed to address roadway deficiencies and enhance safety along a 2.3-mile stretch of Wolf Road from 79th Street to Plainfield Road.   • IDOT District 2 Rebuild I-39 CCM

    R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) provides Construction Corridor Management (CCM) Services for the Illinois Department of Transportation’s (IDOT) Rebuild I-39 Project. The I-39 Corridor, an approximately 4-mile stretch of I-39 in Winnebago County extending through southern Rockford and adjacent Cherry Valley, plays a significant role in the economic growth of Rockford and the surrounding region.
